Deal with frustration in Life…!!!


Frustration is a way of feeling disowned or failed in life when all your efforts are giving no results or making you feel unwanted and a loser. It’s amongst the most common human emotion today, which you would see on every other persons face. This feeling/emotion leads to people doing things which are not correct. It is something which is not just a small issue, it has to be dealt with, and its root for existence can be spread deep and far in one life. This symptom often lands a person to a state of depression. To make it even worse when people try to ignore what they are going through and are feeling over and due to a particular issue/s. Life just seems to be a bowl full of disappointments  just because nothing seems to be working. Every person has his/her own reasons to feel like this, be it related to relationships, dreams and goals, just about everything comes under it. The underlying emotion of feeling dejected crops up either because you’re not doing what you want to, or something is definitely wrong about it. This means one needs to CHANGE a few things or look for an alternate. This journey of change can be painful one, a long and may be even more frustrating one. But it’s a way of life, one has take a fresh approach to things and start being more positive even if the results aren't that good. We all have up’s and down’s in life, which makes us feel that there is nothing ahead, but after sometime everything seems better and a new opportunity can be foreseen. Though I completely believe in the fact that when we are going through the pain within us, we feel bad, angry, irritated and a voice inside wants to scream to world ‘Why Me?’… But, later on, you tend to get stronger with things, and are able to cope up better with life and situations. Thus, eventually I understood the fact that things happen in our lives only to make us stronger and matured enough to handle situations, all this just depends on how we take it. So, instead of feeling frustrated, I started finding ways of solving situations.

There are ways of dealing with this emotion of hurt and frustration, maybe I have just used some of them in life…
  • Do what you love, there is nothing more content than loving your work or achieving your dreams. 
  • Find time for yourself, it’s good to be a workaholic, but it is a necessity to give time to yourself and think about life. 
  • Find your stress buster, get on with it. 
  • Get back what your passion is, what makes you happy, don’t let it go away from your life. 
  • Spend time with friends, they are the most valuable people one can have in life. 
  • Share your problems with your family, they are always there to solve them and guide you through. 
  • Make happiness your priority in life. 
  • Pamper yourself at times, it is very important. 
  • Meditate and calm you senses. 
  • Cry out when you’re feeling sad and vent out those emotions instead of feeling trapped by them. 
  • Go take out the frustration in the gym and get yourself fitter. 
  • Punch, scream, and just don’t let things stay inside you for long that it spoils everything in life. 
  • Forgive yourself and others for any mistake that might have been made, else you can never move on in life. It is something which keeps you at peace. 
  • Go out for a meal with friends or maybe even alone, spending some alone time with yourself, or maybe just cook some delicious meal at home and pamper your taste-buds. 
  • Find out what is the underlying reason for feeling frustrated.
  • Contemplate on the ideas for solving it.
Everyone has their own ways, these were certain things I used in life, so putting it all together here, because, it’s never too late to start over new and try something new today, if yesterday was not satisfying. Why stay stuck and you can do better and give yourself a better tomorrow.
